Wood at the heart of our homes
French, local, and renewable wood
We process Douglas Fir, Spruce, and Fir from the Jura, Alps, Morvan, Massif Central, and Pyrenees massifs.
This proximity guarantees:
- less transport between forest and sawmill,
- fresher timber,
- direct traceability from the log batch to the finished products,
- controlled volumes according to species and massifs.
Our 5 sites, located as close as possible to the resources, reduce kilometers traveled and improve logistical responsiveness. Douglas Fir, the group’s core species, enjoys dynamic growth in French forests—a major asset for the industry.
French wood: a bio-sourced, ecological, and low-carbon material
To increase the carbon sequestration necessary for climate preservation, it is important to respect a virtuous cycle:

Wood: a low-carbon material for sustainable construction
Wood is the only material capable of storing carbon throughout its entire lifespan. On average, 1 m³ of wood = 1 ton of CO₂ equivalent stored.
French wood offers:

Our modern equipment (including the “active curve” line at Sougy) allows for better yield, less waste, and superior material recovery, even on curved or irregular logs.

The multi-site distribution also limits travel between sawmills and construction sites, reducing the overall logistical impact.
