Planed dry wood

Planed dry wood refers to softwood species rigorously dried to reach a low moisture content (≤ 18%). These pieces then pass through a planer to provide perfectly smooth faces and precisely calibrated dimensions. They are delivered ready to be installed directly or to receive finishes.

Primary Use

Its most common use is the manufacture of timber frame walls. It constitutes the vertical and horizontal skeleton (studs and rails) allowing for the insertion of insulation and the support of bracing panels.
